SyQuest to reduce price on EZFlyer, SyJet

SyQuest Technology Inc. today announced that it is dropping the price of its SyJet and
EZFlyer removable-cartridge drives.
Effective Sept. 2, the company will sell the EZFlyer, a 230-Mbyte drive, for $149, 25
percent less than the previous price of $199. The drive is available in SCSI, extended IDE
(Integrated Drive Electronics) and parallel versions.
Also, the 1.5-Gbyte SyJet will cost $299 for an internal version, $100 less than the earlier
price of $399. The external version will go for $399, which is 20 percent less than the
previous list price of $499.
The internal SyJet is available in EIDE or SCSI versions, and the external version is
available in SCSI or parallel. |
