Well, I agree about that. Nothing compared with the nightmare we already have, but a nightmare nonetheless.

The reality is that SS is broke. Today. Right now. Technically insolvent by any reasonable accounting measure.

The fate of the entire economy rests on this failed social program becoming workable going forward. It is clear the current arrangement is not capable of doing it.

We really don't have a choice in the matter. The only choice is whether we elect someone who will deal with the problem or someone who will kick the can.

The Left merely wants to use it as a political weapon.
