Many, (most?) people would disagree with your definition. They would say that inflation and deflation are MONETARY related NOT PRICE related. Perhaps Russ would care to chime in. Even if it is 60-40 or 70-30 it gets damn confusing when 1/3 to 1/2 are using a different definition than you.
