We have the means to fix it if we change our priorities. The neo's goal of ruling the world is a good place to start. You have no idea how big this problem is. Is fixing SS more important than the Iraq war? I think so. Assume the war cost $200B. SS is a $10-26 trillion problem, depending on WHEN it is fixed. There is no connection whatsoever. The ignorance of people on this subject amazes me. I would think that OCCASIONALLY, at least one person on the Left would show up who understands the problem. I think the last remaining liberal who understood it was Moynihan.
