My first post on SI after 6 years of "reading mode only".
I spoke to Jody at DMX today. I found a difference, a positive one. Rennie is gone, I never had much success talking to Rennie. Although I think RK kept him in the dark as much of the rest of us. At least I hope that was the case.
I'll summarize my conversation for you.

Priorities are 1. long term financing 2. Solvay deal or an alternative. 3. Kuhne deal I don't think any of this is a surprise to anyone.

Management is aware of our distaste for dilution. She mentioned a debt to equity deal. Time will tell. I think we'll hear something soon.

There are 2 studies ongoing with Pennsaid. Long term efficiency and add on therapy. I would think if I wanted to negotiate a US partner I would want the add on trials complete to show the potential of an expanded market.

Partnering in the US is a possibility but not a priority at this time.

WF10 - too early to assess the damage. She mentioned clinical studies for cancer, and a few other immune disorder ailments. WF10 is a long ways away. Past management really messed up here. If the HIV trials are not something they can salvage then they may pass on starting over because of time and money.

In Canada they are doing doctor seminars and are obviously working to leverage the recent news re. Vioxx and company.

There are other things I could have asked, but what is the sense. Without taking care of the immediate needs everything else is irrelevant.

I mentioned on my 2nd stockhouse post that I contacted Dr Pugen re WF10 treatment on a liver / lung cancer treatment. He said it would help under normal circumstances but we were not able to do anything for a couple of reasons.

I told Jody of my past experience with IR and did not wish to go that route again. She assured me that they were now relaying any information to shareholders they could, good or bad. I have many pages of notes that I took in speaking to Rennie....I could write quite a fairy tale.

I have enjoyed the posts on SI over the years. But I must admit that I was not able to get through all of Jim's posts, my attention span is far too short. ;)

Best of luck to all. Hopefully we now have a new company, just got to clean out the closets.
