Additionally, neither Buckley, Bush, or any other mortal can know where we would be today had we not gone to war. (Unless, perhaps, there exist parallel universes where our alter-egos made different decisons than we did and the consequences are being played out).

Since there is no mistake, or crime, of which that can't be said, it's just funny.

If the money and lives being wasted in Iraq were being spent intelligently to counter al-Q, that would be better, not the same, and not worse.
