Something I've done with a portion of my cash is a position in PTF fund. It fluctuates some, as the chart shows, but I don't worry much about that unless it starts to tank. The attraction is a monthly dividend greater than 1%. It works out to be around 13% annually. As long as price stays flat to up, I'll stay with this.
