You state:
> The paper's headline was "Former Sapiens Boss Joins Relativity." ... I got the impression from the article that something was a little off base with the situation. Just my feeling.

Could you elaborate on this a bit more?! How could a relatively low figure in the management departing from the company to a stratup company be viewed as something off base?!

Something you may find interesting. When I worked for the company (I was a software developer from 89-95 in the SantaBarbara lab) I remember everytime someone in the upper management was not being productive quietly they kind of disappeared! We used to make joke about that all the time and call it sort of mafia!! So I am not sure if this is a similar situation or not. The fact is Sapiens is run like a family/privat business because the upper management owns the majority of the outstanding shares and in such an environment I can guarantee you the efficiency and productivity of the company is the number one priority. When I left Sapiens in August of 95 (since Sapiens was moving their Santa Barbara R&D lab to Rehovet in Israel), to a much much larger corporation, I could not believe how relax and easy-going and non-productive the new company was compare to what I had become used to for over 6 years at Sapiens!

Anyway, I would not be worried about a low figure management leaving the company to a startup to follow his own dreams of making it big. What I would really want to know is how Sapiens presentation in the Cruttenden Roth Millenium Solution Providers Conference in New York (being held next Tuesday Sept. 4) will be received.
