I'm glad to hear you say that. When the idea of integrating individual investment accounts into SS was advanced during the Clinton administration, he proposed directly investing a portion SS funds into the stock market instead of U. S. bonds. Over time, that would make the government a part owner of every public company in America. As if it wasn't already, since the take from the corporate income tax averages around 30%.
