Well, yea... I'd never daytrade an option! Again, the options market makers have to make hundreds up markets for the big guys, they promise folks like JPM they can come down and whack out hundreds ON THE BID. I recommend using limit orders and I think you'll find you'll get filled. So if the market is 3.30 3.40, offer @ 3.32 and bid 3.38.
