Ron/Joe, The news from Hub seems to be very positive. This, as I keep repeating has a positive impact on the price of the stock. i.e. Percentage wise, it has held up pretty well in this poor market. So we will just have to hang in for another couple of months to see if Hub can deliver (he usually does).

As far as your questions go Ron. See the Northfields SI thread. There is a lot of information there on NFM and Canuc. The true position of Canuc/Northfields is readily obvious if you contact Northfields and get them to send you an Investor's Package. There is more promotion in their Annual Report that Canuc would have in their own AR. So for the patient investor either stock will be an excellent play. (NFM is up 100% from recent lows and is tightly held by European investors). Provided that the price of gold holds up and Canuc does half of what they told Joe, things could be rewarding.

Based on your questions Ron, just think of a small town burial ground, with about 100 plots. This is what Canuc had to consolidate by negotiating (buying out) each claim holder. A slow process, which is supposed to finish by the end of the year. The gold was mined (from what I remember) by adit (hole in the side of the mountain) or in the bigger contiguous claims, by decline/ramp. So lets say that 50% of the contained ore has been extracted (?? by vein chasers). This is as good as you're going to get for exploration data. (Based on the 50% mined out NFM claims that since the "gold rush" in Nambija in the early 1980's about 2,500,000 ounces have been removed. Now NFM's property completely surrounds Canuc's property. The recent run (100%) is based/fueled by another property not the Nambija. The bought another 25% to hold to 75%. So sit back and relax after you have loaded up on Canuc (below a dollar) or NFM (at present prices) for a potential run.

But don't forget to talk to NFM yourself first. Don't take my 2c.

Cheers Winzer
