Well Larry,

For starters, click here:

infoworld.com

Even OS/2 is not dead yet. Believe it or not, this is still a very popular OS in the R&D field. This is actually a huge development given
the embrace of Java for "push".

Other popular software would include OS/400. IBM has a large percentage of the farm bet on this one and they are ahead so far. With what other midrange system vendor can you develop the same software in your office on a $5000.00 AS/400, turn around a month later and sell the package to, let's say a university with a $500,000.00 AS/400? All the while maintaining and modifying code for the client on your little PC sized machine that runs the same OS? Neat concept, huh?

How about PC Support? By far, it is still the most bullet-proof routing software for the PC that I have encountered. NetSoft has a good product but has nowhere near the stability of the tried and true IBM product. And PC Support must be 10 years old!

Just a few examples...
Robert
