In the election campaigns we have been seeing a series of "what's good for the goose is also good for the gander" or "tit for tat" from both sides. Sinclair is no doubt trying to create political credit and to curry favour. To be sure, 4 more years of Bush would enable him to expand and consolidate his business. The Dems are not forcing Sinclair to scale back. It is business reality (a steep drop of his stock price and loss of advertising revenue) that has forced him to scale back. Bush will do well to learn from Sinclair: Sinclair's decision is based or reality whereas Bush's decisions and actions have been faith-based or based on his incredible certainty of what God wants!
