The question was "in retrospect" and concerned mistakes made, or did I missed something? Who cares if Clark served under Republican administrations -- he served under Clinton. In retrospect, it was a mistake for Bush to keep him on. The ugliness you saw in Bush was in the eye of the beholder -- a misperception IMHO. While Bush appeared ugly to you, I was over come by the unmistakable odor of Kerry's stable droppings. An ugly nature? How do you reconcile the personal attacks, directed at Laura Bush and Mary Chaney, launched by Kerry, Edwards, their wives, and associates? What hypocritical B.S. A recession may be in the cards, who knows? However we do know terrorism and militant Islam are the babies in the bath tub. Unless "we" deal aggressively with terrorism, the economy and healthcare will suddenly become irrelevant. Sadly, liberals like Gore and Moore, would rather see their nation perverted and destroyed than have Bush re-elected. No matter, Enquiring minds are made up. Four More Years -- better get used to it. :^)
