Hi Christine,

Maybe it is nuclear power that we don't agree on. I am in favor of it for the production of large amounts of power. We need to use proven designs like France does, not design each new one from scratch like we do now. Actually we will probably have to import the technology now, because it has been a long time since we built one here. Of course my first choice is making electrical devices, such as refrigerators and ACs, more efficient first. How do you feel about nucear?

They had a piece on the news tonight about el Nino again. It looks like stormy weather for you this fall and winter. Do you live close to the shore?

There have been no storms that formed in the Gulf or Caribberan this August, which is unusual. The last time that happened in 1970, a large hurricane hit right up the coast, with winds of 180 mph. We'll have to see. We are way overdue for a Texas hurricane.
