OK MIKE - As I see it....Novell will be merged with IBM and the announcement will occur AFTER the Labor Day Holiday on Tuesday September 2, 1997. It WILL NOT BE A SALE but a stock for stock 'merger' deal. Novell will contintue to run as a separate company (like Lotus) and CEO Schmidt will become Director Schmidt. He will have free reins to do what is necessary to grow the subsidiary.

Mr. Joe Antol will be called in as a consultant to Director Schmidt and Marketing Director Slitz to help in the PR and press release on the new IBM ( Novell) products.

Mr. Vinod Khurana will be part of the promotional team to get the word out to investors that the new subsidiary Novell is the new Internet leader.

It was also rumored that Eddie Kim and Steve Fancy were brought in to aid Director Schmidt in his live TV interview segments...like blinking eyes .... foward looking statements and the like.

The company also disclosed that Mr. Jack L. Dlugach, retired stock broker, would take the lead in diseminating this news to Wall Street and the institutional brokers. He was herd telling the press that "... I think we're back in a safety zone and I don't think that we need to worry about any more shrinkage--Schmidt shrunk the channels so much last quarter that there's really nowhere to go but up...".

And the soap opera continues.....

EKS (scratching his head and trying to figure what is really going on behind the scene....)
