My take on the closing of Magellan: Stanzky obviously can't figure out where to invest the globs of money that are coming in every month. Read: He doesn't want to keep investing in overpriced companies like Gilette and Coke and Disney. He can't invest in underpriced microcaps without alienating his bosses. And the former head of Magellan, Peter Lynch, who hates to sell, said "it needs a rest". Read: Institutional money is not going into KO like it had the past 5 years.
