In the short run, liberal policies might help some people, but in the long run they weaken society, weaken the economy and eventually hold back progress on a large scale. Progress and economic strength bring improved standards of living for everyone. Liberalism over the long run has a negative effect on the standard of living for everyone, even the people that they claim to be helping. Dave
