Actually, that's an outstanding question and it's the one we are all arguing about.

There is a fine line. My opinion is that we are on the wrong side of it right now, at least for today's circumstances. My opinion is that we are on the liberal side of the line and the democratic party is trying to move us further away from the fine line.

We need the conservative party to move us back into balance. I have lots of examples. Here's one. Bush has the right approach on the abortion issue. He is not making moves to abolish abortion, he's just moving it back towards a balance that makes sense. Some types of abortion are simply murder (ie. partial birth abortion). Eliminating that practice has moved our society closer to the fine line that is the balance most of us feel is acceptable.
