Q and fab capacity
I've been hearing they may invest in a fab share - interesting that Samsung are putting a 300mm logic fab in place next year, but can't fill it. Problem is, Q needs leading edge capacity, and not much spare 130nm or 90nm wafers around at foundries these days. They also need 300mm to get the cost economies to compete with TI and others in WCDMA. Again, TSMC has nothing to offer here.
