Hi elm,

I am wondering if you sense whether the mining opportunities that are being explored in Burkina Faso, Ghana have any possibility of success. I'm not talking about the mechanics of ore bodies, grades, tonnage etc etc but about the political, security, legal and physical probability of being able to function and bring to production in those countries. I have this vision of the scurrilous mayhem and bandit/warlords in all facets of life and economies in that corner of the world.
