FRCP just recently received contracts and approvals for their armored engineer's service vehicles for use in several branches of the military. They have been at it for quite a while, and they are fully reporting with no "E" history that I can recall.

Hence, there is no reason to expect them to evaporate all of a sudden. To the contrary, once you're successfully in the Mil system there are always more opportunities coming up. I.e.: some other company may want to bid through FRCP's established relationship with the Mil on JV basis, etc., to address other DARPA RFPs like UAVs or UCAVs, etc.

Like Oshkosh Truck, they also need to keep trying to do innovative things to meet new DARPA requests for proposal, etc., and every now and then they'll score on one. In the interim, foreign militaries may find their equipment attractive since they all watch to see what the USA is buying.

I wouldn't sink a lot of money into it, but a chunk of cheapie-shares would seem like a good long term HOLD.

The current blurbs showing up in FRCP's "News" listings are obviously related to other government efforts having nothing to do with the company, but when it comes to PRs (..like Hollywood gossip..) 'something' is alwyas better than nothing.

John :-)
