Kerry gives nothing back to lobbyists. I know. I was on his team when we returned the $200,000 check to a CEO who joked about wanting to someday be an ambassador. I actually felt they should have kept it. The guy was just half-joking. That is how strict Kerry is about ethical standards. Lobbyists can give him all they like, but he won't return the favor.

Contrast this to Delay-Bush-Cheney, whose regime is practically a clearing house for special favors to regulated industries like energy, pollution, timber, health care, drugs and weapons systems. Kerry also never took PAC and soft money when everyone else was. Everyone but Edwards I should add.
