Foreign producers have some advantages that we should remove in our trade agreements. Yhey have little or no environmental laws, child labor laws, minimum wage laws and those sort of liberal things. Also many of the nations like china have nat'l health care systems so producers in those nations don't even think about things like health insrance for their employees. The question is are our workers going to be more like them in incomes or are their workers going to be more like ours. Bush seems to think more like them because he has made no effort to see to it that they are environmentally friendly. Though on his behalf he has made no effort to help American producers to lower their medical bills or even remove them. So we get the worst of both worlds. Great policy.
