Bill, Haven't heard any recent discussion of mergers/acquisitions for either, but the ceo for JSI did mention a ways back that there is alreaady oversaturation and felt consolidation was likely in the industry. This is a signal, but who knows what or when. Meanwhile, JSI apparently is on schedule to open up four new stores early next year, which would be the first set of openings in quite some time. Hopefully the mid 3 s will continue to have support at least. I know the earnings are due out in the very near future. Bern's is a show unto itself. Went there a few times when I lived in Tampa. Worth requesting the kitchen tour after dinner, which includes the wine cellar, and then doing the dessert room after. I read recently about one of the upscale Miami restaurants which can't get insurance to totally cover all of the wine which went bad after Hurricane Andrew...there's a scary thought. Nice to see one of our portfolio common denominators finally pulling slowly out of its trading channels of recent weeks. Take care, Marshall
