First you say nobody died in the Cold War No such remark was made.

The Cold War was named so, because it was not a traditional war. Troops were only marching when bands played on holidays. Sure, there were plenty of heated outbursts from the end of the Vietnam War forward, but you will not find many history books that include Korea or Vietnam in the Cold War. They are completely different approaches to political conflict.
