Just ruminating: I understand that GWB is viewed positively by about 7% of the population in Germany, Italy, Spain or France and by 2% in Egypt. His former 30% support in England has been dropping like a rock. Russia just approved the Koyoto treaty meaning it's provisions will now be implemented in the scores of countries who have approved the treaty. The US falls further out of step with the world since we have refused even to ask for US Senate approval of the treaty and Bush has , instead, fought against the treaty. The White House science policy is lost in the dark ages. Our press does not cover the full situation in Iraq. For example a dozen Iraq security force members were executed yesterday and Iraqi civilian dead exceed 25,000 since the start of the war. More than 1280 Americans (civilian and military)have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and over 25,000 military medivacs have been done out of Iraq. At least 5,000 , possibly as many as 7,500 of our soldiers there have been seriously wounded. Had not we developed very advanced wound treatment systems; more than 2,000 American military personnel would have lost their lives. Instead the War is creating thousands of crippled people.

I could go on and on about Shrub's mistaken and cruel policies on domestic matters, his mishandling of the enviornment, etc. but this is enough already.
