it is commonly accepted by historians that Korea and Vietnam were part of the Cold War. My history education ended before the Cold War. In my day (and oh how my back aches), Korea and Vietnam were separate from the current war, The Cold War.

Regularly I talk with people that have fought in WWll, the Korean War, and in Vietnam and heard their stories. Yet, through it all, none of us is capable of stringing it together like a history book, and claiming it is all the Cold War.

Please, from henceforth, accept that when I write Cold War, I mean post Vietnam, a MAD War.
