It may take the world's production of stainless pipe.

However -

Let's say the pipeline is 4000 miles long.
5280 feet per mile, so about
20 million feet long.

In North America, about 16+ million cars & trucks are sold each year. About 8 million made in North America.

Even parking them side by side, assuming about 6 feet wide, we only need about 4 million cars.

Car don't use that much stainless, but pipelines do.

And stainless requires Nickel 15-25%. The outdoor corrosion resistant tends to need more nickel.
That's a LOT of nickel.

Inco and Falconbridge will make loads off this.

*******

In other news, our Governator did a photo op with a Hydrogen powered Hummer - filling it at a Hydrogen equiped service station. No Hindenberg jokes, please...unless they are really funny.
