I agree.

Kerry supporters live in Never-Never land. They like pretty stories with happy endings.

Was surrounded by the enemy tonight at dinner. ;) It was me and my husband....the two of us.....against four libs.

Had a quiet conversation with the host. He admitted to preferring a socialist America where every person is given an equal amount of services and no one person should have extreme amounts of wealth. He's a doctor......easy for him to say.

When the conversation turned to Iraq, he told me that Iraqis were not ready for democracy....."they are 30 years behind everyone else".......and that the sanctions would have given them time to catch up to the rest of the western world. That the UN was valuable in that they were monitoring the situation quite adequately. He'd heard (somewhere) about the oil for food scandal. That whole affair was a "minor incident."

edit: One of the women liberals said that we should have gone after Saudi Arabia. After all, that is where most of the 9/11 highjakers were from.

Deep conversation! I came away most surprised by their ignorance. They being "professionals" and all.
