So....... I wonder what will happen to RMBS when the market makers leave it out to dry and move on to the "next big thing"? This stock is the most speculative since Iomega, in my opinion. Actually, I'm not sure that IOMG was ever quite this crazy... IPO at $10.50, now trading at $80 just a couple of months later? I wonder where the air pocket is.. oh, sorry! ;)

IMHO your conparison is simply wrong. Iomega never had Intel's
backing. In addition, an Intel executive was quoted recently as saying
that it was too late to design in any of the alternative dram technologies that pretend to compete with rambus. My interpretation
of this statement is that there isn't goint to be anything else in the PC
market (circa late '98) and this is the biggest market out there.
Perhaps it is wishful thinking on my part, and perhaps I am reading too
much into Intel's position, but I don't think so. It looks to me that the
decisions have already been made and the die is cast. This is all
public information, you just have to put the pieces together. Look at
the dram manufacturers, one by one, they are all falling into line.
To me it's as plain as day, but time will tell if I'm right or not.
