I am sure it was intoxicating. I have never done opera, but I have done musicals. I was the lead tenor in the barbershop quartet in "The Music Man", and the male lead (the merchant) in "Hello Dolly!", in high school. I had friends in the chorus who were thrilled to be a part of it all........
