Isn't that just what it comes down to?: they can't stand being shown to be wrong. The same people who used to tell me how stupid Reagan was and how he would merely play into the hands of Kremlin hardliners; how he would ruin the economy; how he would set back women and minorities; how he would allow the "theocrats" to run things; and so on are now telling me much the same thing about Bush. They were wrong then, why should they impress me now?
