I agree that that piece was rantish. You'd think a senior fellow at Cato could do better.

Nonetheless, if you flip the question around and look for things Bush has done to further the above, you'd be very hard pressed to find anything. Obviously, the author would like to see them furthered, not brushed off. Momentum in a movement is a sad thing to lose.
