Any guesses on how the election will influence the January Effect 2005?

My intuitive sense is that we get a relief rally once the winner is determined, which might take days or even weeks. The longer the wait, the more the rebound, and if others anticipate the same, that's when they might begin doing some tax-loss selling. So we might be able to see some nice set-ups by the end of November.

I know there are many more variables to consider and I'd be curious to know how others see it.
