Well, I've done it, and I invite you all to also do it. Below is a final draft of my Advertisement (SPAM) for our cause. I've been out running naked (no really, I was in my SHORTS) through the halls of SI tonight and have posted this on all threads (alphabetically from "A" through "JMAR") in $5 & under that have more than 1000 posts and were active today. I've done all I can tonight and must turn in, but all others, feel free to pick up the ball and run. ANyone who has access to AOL or other non-SI forums are encouraged to get the mesage out as well. Just highlight it below and cut it so you can paste into new messages. Let's keep the interest up here and make sure the shorts don't get enough lapse in the activity to do any real damage. Folks, I'm stopping by your thread tonight to draw your attention to a
developing situation with Olympus Ventures (NASDAQ BB: OVIS). OVIS is up over 500% in the past few weeks on heavy buying by a group of shareholders known as The Cartel. The company is profitable and is currently trading around 1 1/2 and is considered to be fairly valued at 2 1/2. Here's the interesting part:
The Cartel caught wind of a massive short position exceeding the public float of only 1.6 million shares.
