Beach_bum, probably in 30 to 50 years (after the govt releases confidential info) we'll learn the real reason why the USA went to war. Maybe it's oil. Note the huge increase in oil prices - the govt may have anticipated this increase. Or, maybe it's a diversion of the anger: better to fight overseas than have white male supremist blowing up more federal buildings.

Bush is almost like a Hitler - attacking countries without any provocation. Scary thing is, generations from now, people will ask us, "why on earth did people in the US support attacking a country that had nothing to do with 911?"

That's what it'll look like in the history books.

I think the real reason USA attacked Iraq because of the importance of oil to this country and as a way to influence change in Saudia Arabia (where the majority of the terrorists originated).
