To All: Throughout my life I have intermittently used a term "little pointed head." It's been a term of affection for me.. One thing I used to say was from your tippy toes to your little pointed little head... (to students no less ) I never meant it pejoratively. Unfortunately when I used this term with Westera2 he found it insulting and name calling. Since I never intended for it to be as I am not a name caller and do not appreciate those who do use nasty names I am apologizing publicly as I used the term in a public post. I checked out with a friend today whether she would be insulted had I said this to her and she said yes. So, I think I will cease and desist from using it... What is frivolous to some can cause hurt and I never intend that.
