I did "just google it" as you suggested, I also read the references that you put on your post.

Some of those sources are very radical and ones I am not familiar with. If one accepts what they say as true, then the whole system in the US from the top down is corrupt. The CIA and top world leaders are involved in heroin and drug smuggling etc.
I spent about 2 hours reading so far. On the one hand the Harvard Library suggests a study of Li as a model entrepreneur and one to emulate and there are plenty of positive reports about his charities and savvy business dealings. On the other hand we have the aforementioned extreme view that he is involved in criminal and nefarious activities and connected to the PLA and Chinese Intel. I question the accuracy of these sources because of the other stories they publish.

Anyway you have given me something to think about and I thank you for that.
