Allow me to quote the Undersecretary of Defense, Lt.-Gen. William Boykin:

George Bush was not elected by a majority of the voters in the United States. He was appointed by God.

The President has thanked God in public for calling him to the Oval Office to help full fill God's plan, instead of sitting on a bar stool somewhere in Texas.
