Karen, you have simply not absorbed the lesson of 9/11. An enemy inspired by fanaticism and no holds barred doesn't need divisions because he can leverage assymetrical warfare. If (G-d forbid) we were to lose 3 cities in a day to dirty bombs, would the US still "exist"? Certainly, but in a radically altered form.

Can you really maintain that such a scenario is not a serious possibility?
