Malcolm,
Your point is well taken but it assumes that billionaires are concerned with increasing their wealth above anything else. The same for "corrupt politicians". Whilst I am sure it applies to some, do you really thing it applies to most?

And if the American democratic system is fatally flawed, one wonders where one can go to find a workable system. I mean if the Fed is going to print money endlessly, as is expected by many on this thread, resulting in a crash. Where would one be better off or are we all doomed?
