Re: Hudson Foods (HFI).

I was tempted to short HFI when I heard about the recall and E-coli scare couple of weeks ago. But, then I found out that their revenue from Beef production is close to 10% and apparently not profitable. The analyst's report I read said that their bulk of the profit comes from chicken and pork. I also heard some thing similar in one of the financial TV programs. I think that the street may be taking this as a positive for HFI thus the stock price increase.

Hope this helps.
