Let me see........some kids are a poking a long stick at an Africanized bee hive. The bees start to swarm and the kids run and hide. The bees spot some poor joe plowing in the next field and attack.....killing him. Do you only blame the bees? Are the kids not culpable at all?

Stick to the facts. ~50 new, probably youngish, Iraqi policemen were captured on their way home for vacation, and executed by their captors. Get mad at the captors/killers in this situation, because it is clearly a planned, premeditated, violent action against (probably) their own people. It's not some emotional reaction to the invasion and occupation, its is premeditated, planned murder of the country's youth. Responsibility lies with those who committed the crime.

Common wisdom tells us that when you poke your nose in other people's business, sh_t happens!

Common wisdon also tells us that when oppressed people are living under a dictator, they want to be freed of his oppression, correct? I don't know that you can find many Iraqis that don't celebrate Saddam's removal.

Every American should be outraged at what is being done in our name. And every American will pay the price of Bush's folly! There is always a price to be paid for hubris and mendacity!

Well I would say something along the lines of their is a price to pay for Bush's poor planning and worse execution of the post-major combat operations phase in Iraq. It's not hubris (everybody does want to be free, you know. Whether they want to be "liberated" by foreigners is a different question). And, uhmm, I'm not sure exactly what "mendacity" means, so I'll just let that one slide.

As an American, you've gotta support the idea of bringing representative government to the people of the Middle East, it's the process that is highly questionable.
