Reading DU really gives a sense that the hard core left isn't any happier with the MSM than conservatives are. Among the objects of their ire are CNN's Judy Woodruff (they call her Judy Woof-woof) and Candy Crowley (whose size is an object of ridicule).

The WashPost Sunday magazine fronted a long article on Lyndon LaRouche, who is a major flake, but what interested me is how many of the LaRouche memes have been picked up by the Democrats.

I sense that there is a real third party in America, or maybe even a real second party, waiting to be born. John McCain and Zell Miller would probably be Founding Fathers. I like to think that Joe Lieberman would sign on.

I would love to belong to a party that is conservative but tells the Born Agains to fageddaboudit. I don't want to live in a country that outlaws teaching evolution, or allows the Ten Commandments to be placed in every public building.
