"I challenge you again to produce one example where innocent people are in Hell. You can't because there aren't any"
I have given enough examples to fill every graveyard on earth a thousand times over, but like a child you cover your eyes and say: "Don't see it, so not dere". When I mention the millions that were exterminated because of their color, race, or nationality.....and then shipped to Hell to be viciously tortured for eternity--you have no response. When I mention all the innocent men, women, and children who were murdered in the flood so that guilty people of low character could be exalted...you close your mind and your heart and you dumb up.
When I tell you that the bible does not deal in half measures but promises eternal life either in heaven or being tortured in Hell--regardless of whether you are guilty or innocent but based solely on whether you believe in the corrrect myth--thus punishing the "guilt" of a little Hindu boy who steals a candy bar the same as a Zoroastrian serial killer who mutilates innocent children before dismembering them--you are again...speechless. I suppose the most disgusting corollary of all of this is that the bible makes it clear that Mr. Serial Killer may end up in heaven if he mumbles his faith in Jesus before he is electrocuted, while the innocent child who does not believe in Jesus because her parents are of a different culture and religion is "already condemned".
"You are losing it (your cool and the debate)"
You are debating nothing, else why am I responding to dribble such as this? And I am as cool as can be. There has never been a more one-sided "argument"...which explains your responses as being mostly of the attack the person kind!
"You know more than the creator of the Universe"
Now you are "arguing" in a childish manner, once again. I know a great deal more than the barbarians who wrote ancient tales--a few of which were chosen to guide the dogmatic tenets of a certain sect.
I live in a civilized era and have the benefit of the wonderful thought of centuries of great men and women, and the lessons of history and moral progress to assist my sense and my sensibility. Thus (as do my peers in rational society), I abhor hurting others simply because they think for themselves or break dogmatic rules from some cult or another. WE do not stone old men to death for gathering sticks on a Sunday; we do not spread dung on the faces of priests; and we do not exterminate tribes of people on the basis of race, color, or religion.
"The "I have never killed anyone" defense does not impress the judge when charges are for stealing or extortion."
You are absolutely wrong. The judge takes into account the nature of the offense. He/she does not condemn ALL people to either eternal torture or to eternal sycophancy. As I said in the past post:
I expressed no outrage at God punishing guilty people. I expressed disgust at the concept that God punishes innocent people and that he murders on the basis of race, culture, color, tribe, and other such prejudicial and unjust premises...and that He then acts in a manner that is barbaric and psychotic in the eyes of any decent human being--to wit, he TORTURES people for eternity.
If you think that being from another tribe makes a person "guilty" and deserving of murder and then eternal torture, and that a young girl is "guilty" just because she was born to another tribe and is a young virgin--and thus merely an inhuman play toy to be used by the Holy Warriors as depicted in the barbaric bible...then the caliber of your thought and of your ethics is about 3000 years behind the society that guarantees YOU freedom of religion and which would condemn and punish any group of misfits who murdered YOUR congregation and then kidnapped YOUR daughters to use as play things.
