I find it interesting the White House can only provide an unnamed "official" to discuss the hottest news story of the day: Missing explosives considered powerful enough to demolish buildings or detonate nuclear warheads.

cnn.com

How can GOPwingers possibly say or even think that we and the world are safer, while knowing this stuff got into terrorist control!?! How can Bush and Cheney truthfully say we're safer!?! And don't let 'em fool you into thinking that the Bush Administration didn't know these explosives were missing and didn't find out about it until we the public did. Those explosives were firmly under UN Seal prior to the GOPwinger invasion, and the UN team considered them a high agenda item!

This is becoming a matter where it's simply not a case of choosing one candidate over another, with the best man winning a presidential election.

It's become a matter where soul-searching Republicans, certainly independents, become confronted with a very important background question when entering the voting booth:

"How can I, ordinary joe and genuine citizen, who traditionally has always voted Republican, possibly support my party's nominee given that he's lied and misled so many Americans on so many crucial issues?"

The thinking may go that Kerry may not be great, but Kerry will at least seem a safer choice for the good of the country. And isn't the good of the country what this is all about? You bet!
