Marx-Engels, wold say that you may be on to something. The reason why Communism failed is they put the cart before the horse. The steps are Capitalism then Socialism then Communism. Not until the modes of production are exhausted can one move into a Communism type economic plan. They also believe that before you can move into Capitalism that a dictatorship was necessary. Though this view is somewhat not popular and controversial. SK
