A modern wind turbine can product electricity for about 2.5 cents to four cents a kilowatt hour, including government subsidies , so the biggest turbines can compete effectively against modern natural-gas-fired power plants..

How many cents per kilowatt hour without the subsidy? Anything can compete if its subsidized enough.
