chuck, Thank you for that, but it does not lessen my fear of a person like Kerry, and the liberals that will follow his lead. After all, the men that followed his lead in VN are against his candidacy to a man. They know what kind of a person he is under fire, and cannot trust him.
There has been incidents of socialistic societies in America, and they have caused problems in past history. The Amana group was fairly docile, but they didn't last long. The Mormons had, what was considered to be, a socialistic society, but it is seldom written that they had kings that ruled them. First was Joseph Smith, that supposedly, wrote the book of Mormon from the message on a bunch of golden plates, and then lost all that gold. Then came Brigham Young, who carried on the dream of a kingdom of Deserette, which was to include what is now the entire states of Utah, and Nevada. They even attacked, without reason, wagon trains of settlers that tried to live on the land they considered to be theirs, and started battles with the US Cavalry. Try to find one of the two "elders" that come and knock on your door, to admit to that.
I ask all of those that are demeaning America, as it is now, why are citizens of almost every nation on earth trying to get here to live, with many of them, literally, dying in the process of trying. |
